Challenge from Scrap Whisper
Another layout and a card for the weeks challenges at Scrap Whipspers. The layout is of my 4 1/2 year old grandson taken on Thanksgiving day. The card has two tags that pull out. The lion and lamb tag says peace and the angel tag says joy.

Week #7 Scrap Whisper challenge - useing a cartoon for inspiration
This cartoon of Garfield inspired this layout. Garfield answers Jon's question of "are those frozen peas?" by saying " they're all the rage this season." I took a student team 4 years ago to England. While on a tour of London, our first day there, I tripped and fell on my knee.
Hidden journaling reads:
I took a team of students to England over the Easter break from school. While sightseeing in London, I fell. The only thing I could use for an ice pack was a bag of frozen peas. I told someone that my "pea" bag and I were inseparable . You really need to watch how you say things.
Under the tag is a copy of an award that my team gave me. "The Bag of Peas" award.
I can laugh at this incident now. Wasn't so easy then.

Another layout.
This is for the Scrap Whispers weekly challenge. To use the word "Together", Family theme, Blue color and light tan, Flowers and a Themed Sticker. (My scanner washed out the light tan color and it looks white, but IRL it is light tan, almost beige.)
Since this is a layout for a family that my DH did a baby dedication for, the wording is in German, but it means...We come together to bless.

More layouts for the Scrap Whispers weekly challenge. This week is to do a layout(s) with the tic tac toe grid effect.
Layout #1 - I called this layout, "Arches in Venice" from our trip there this summer. There were so many different arches, that I just did a whole layout for them.
Layout #2 - This picture was taken after getting off of the cruise ship the Emerald Princess in Venice. Since all roads are water, it was really interesting getting a Water Taxi to take us to the hotel. The water was so rough because of the Water Buses and Taxi's that it was hard to get on the Taxi without feeling like you would fall either into the boat or into the water.
Layout #3 - On the Scrap Whisper blog there was a Tic Tac Toe game you could play. I player one game (and won) so I used the winning game as a plan for my layout. This layout is pictures of the hotel we stayed in, in Venice.

Here are three more layouts I did for the Scrap Whispers weekly challenge. This is for week #2
A Beautiful Park in Prague where friends of ours got married in July 2008.
We had to walk down this street every day we were in Prague on our way to the center of the city.
Our grandson Thomas playing football.
